The French fashion house Saint Laurent has collaborated with furniture design company Hervet-Manufacturier for its Rive Droite project. It enlists products curated by the company’s creative director Anthony Vaccarello, and has been updated with new surfboard-shaped coffee tables made using exotic woods.

The collaboration resulted in exclusive furniture pieces that represent the fashion house’s values. The tables are handcrafted in Zebrano and Louro Preto wood. Making the table unique, the top is decked with an abstract zebra patterned marquetry. The table stands on three tapered legs made of birch plywood that adds to the stylish look.

Hervet Manufacturier is famous for making limited edition furniture using rare wood species. One of the founder Nicolas Hervet, on the other hand, is an ace woodworker, marquetry, and sculptural designer and his touch is visible in the Rive Droite table. Its patterned top and oval shape is what will definitely get some attention.
