The future of workspaces lies in the innovation of how they make the working environment comfortable for everyone. Some of the most important aspects of the offices are the interior, the furniture designs, and the lighting and accessories they use. Form Us With Love, a Swedish design studio has created an installation by the name of Testing Grounds for Stockholm Design Week 2024. This installation reveals innovative work and ideas about the workspace’s future and this is being done in collaboration with Forming Function, Stolab, Savo, and Ateljie Lyktan.

The studio has converted the front of the Stockholm office into a co-working space that features new furniture designs. Testing Grounds is hosting interior designers and architects as this installation has created a space that is leading to a live experiment where people are coming together and sharing ideas about what the future of office design would be. Jonas Pettersson the co-founder and CEO of Form Us With Love commented that this space is like a testing ground thus the name given to it.

The people are encouraged to try the most recent product ranges by the design studio that mostly explores workplace design. In it, the Nomad Collection features a variety of flexible power outlets. Created for the Swedish technology company Forming Function, it showcases eye-catching alternatives to items like extension cables. The design is more revealing in comparison to the normal designs that we usually see that are made to be hidden.

The seating features Spine office chairs that are designed for Savo, a Scandinavian brand. The Alt Collection presents chairs and tables that bring together the characteristics of home and office furniture.

The fourth part of the installation features modular lighting named Hood. It is designed in such a way as to provide privacy in co-working spaces. The panels of the Hood are made using recycled hemp and wool.

Testing Grounds is a brilliant immersive experiment. We are certain there will be a lot of brainstorming about what the future offices will look like.
