Renting a private house in California to enjoy beach vacations is always a fantastic idea, whether you are visiting with your soulmate, kids, friends or you are just alone. If you are also planning an unforgettable beach-side vacation and stay in a private house offering 360° views of the striking beach and the city from the deck, check-in to this 100-foot-tall water tower house, located in the westernmost corner of Orange County, California.

The water tower is one of the most famous beach-front landmarks of California. The good news is, it is no more a water tower, but a luxurious rental that you can book at TripAdvisor on your next beach vacation.

Before knowing what facilities this vacation home offers, let’s dig a little deeper into its history. Build in 1892, the house once was a historic water tower of service steam engines that used to travel along the California coast. After steam engines were discontinued in 1980, a group of local residents rescued the water tower from being knocked down with the help of “Save Our Water Tower” movement. As a result, the water tower had been handed over to architects and builders to be converted into a beautiful house.
