The Jeffrey lamp by +kouple, a company established in 2014 that helped build the Ukrainian object design industry, is the latest product to hit the market. Treading the brand’s philosophy of crafting clean, sustainable, and minimalistic designs, the lamp offers sound absorption, lighting, and aesthetics in one product to liven up any space.
Designed by Dan Vakhrameyev, the unusual lamp aims to balance out the essential elements of a room by serving dual functions. The lamp absorbs the sounds with non-woven recycled polyester PET-felt – a result of processing plastic – to create a soundproof effect for a relaxed conversation.
The light has geometric forms to maintain a simple design with a volumetric shape. The Jeffrey lamp can brighten domestic living areas, restaurants, or even exhibition halls and spaces for a calming and naturally pleasant ambiance.

The designer largely focused on providing an uncluttered form to the lamp minimizing the unnecessary variety of materials and structures. The material for the lamps was provided by Kyiv-based design studio Re:Quiet.
Adding a dynamic visual appearance, the Jeffrey lamp also proposes multiple configurations by interplay between big and small individual panels for creating a larger set-up. Available in six stunning colors, you may match the suspended lamp to power and transform your interior. The Jeffrey lamp uses a GU10 socket with replaceable LED bulbs to cater to changing power, temperature, and angle of light.
