All of us love a bit of fantasy every now and then. In our dreams we imagine, what our fantasy house would look like. Some people daydream about a sprawling castle right on top of a mountain in some mesmerizing location, while some prefer a place of wonder and magic. But if you strongly fantasize to live in a cozy home, then nothing will satisfy your daydreams better than a Hobbit House.

Hobbits were the small, barefoot characters (fictional) in Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings. And they had homes built on the inside of hills, so that they were impossible to be seen if approached from the wrong angle. One such Hobbit House is located in Slovenia. Tucked under a little hill, it’s actually a cute little adobe, designed and constructed by Danica and Joze Kolaric.

This beautiful teahouse is hidden in a hill; surrounded with garden full of flowers, beehives and covered with soft carpet of grass, making it a fabulous place to have a tea party. It blends into the natural landscape in such a way that from behind the house you might never guess there is actually a dwelling. All you can see is a rolling garden full of flowers, however the jabbing out chimney might give you a clue .

The house is built using recycled and reclaimed materials to give it the look of a rustic and cozy place. Wood and stones used in it’s construction came from old abandoned farmhouses nearby. Back wall of the Teahouse is made of cement, so that the house can withstand the weight of the hill above.

Interiors are just as attractive as the landscape, with timber planks and plenty of cute decorative items. There is a wood-burning fireplace, which keeps this tiny little home warm year round.

Truly Teahouse is one Hobbit House which is a perfect example of harmony between man and nature.
