There is a rich profusion of designers in the market who are making steampunk-inspired furniture and lighting accessories. Just when you thought steampunk is losing the steam, someone or the other comes up with an original design and outstrips the competition to make their product more steampunk than the other.

The recent inductee to the list is AKGFabrication who are known for their high-quality original lamp designs, home decor, and art. Blending art and aesthetics together, the AKGFabrication studio has made a steampunk lamp from old car parts.

Dubbed ‘Microscope’, the lamp is made of old car parts and transmission gears. Perfectly suited for any interior space, the design lamp exquisitely incorporates an Edison-styled light bulb emitting a decent amount of light.

Measuring 10-inches in height and weighing around 2.5kg, the lamp is nicely welded into a neat and aesthetic piece, with a tinge of grunge. Definitely worth taking home, the Microscope lamp would cost you around $310 and is available for purchase on Etsy.
