Straddling the lines between minimalistic design and vintage vibes, Archie wooden table is a modular solution to the furniture equation at your home. Archie wooden table is a simple and minimal piece designed by Serena Confalonieri, who is an independent designer based in Milan. The designer made the table for the Italian furniture brand medulum, with the clever use of various shapes and patterns.

The table comprises a wooden top that is available in oval and round shapes. Its tabletop comes in two color versions – in single color and with inlaid multicolor graphics. The colors and patterns pop out to become the center of attraction. The major highlight of the table is its base that consists of steel arches, which is inspired by the trajectory of bouncing objects and creates an interplay of lines syncing with the wooden structure not once but twice.

Serena Confalonieri hails her design as a dance of sinuous movements in reference to the classic form of arches. The geometric steel arches create an elegant contrast with the wooden tabletop.
