Australian lighting brand Rakumba brings Port, a table and wall light series treading the lines of the company’s ethos of producing iconic lighting. The Port is born out of the brand’s collaboration with multi-award-winning designer Tom Fereday to play upon the refractive properties of cast crystal glass.

The Port collection features table lamps or wall-mounted lights in two profiles: Port round (circular spiral form) and Port stadium (elongated oval form) which use an integrated LED as their light source. Visually architectural and pure in form, the light pieces are crafted by hand. The hand-finished light is crafted from solid crystal monolith glass on the outside enveloping the aluminum or brass in the center.

One of the striking aspects of the Port line is that the lights can even be reversed by simply flipping the glass body upside down. This in turn produces two subtle modifications of the illuminator to suit your mood and requirements by offering both concave and convex structures.

The light creates contrasting textures and glowing illumination making it a fit for use in residential and commercial properties including hallways, restaurants, or lounge rooms. The Port light series is available in six base finishes: satin brass, patinated brass, brushed aluminum, patinated aluminum, black powder, and white powder.
