It was in the year 2022 that the Toyota IMV 0 concept turned out as one of the most modular vehicles on the market. The concept was brought into production in the form of sub-Hilux mini trucks. Today we see Carryboy, a Thai motorhome manufacturer scale up the modularity of Toyota with their creative motorhome that converts the Toyota Hilux Champ into a six-person micro dwelling on wheels for the perfect camping experience.

The Hilux Champ is characterized by its multipurpose utility and the compact pickup truck is designed in a way to serve as the foundation for the advanced integrations that Carryboy has achieved with its design. The motorhome is also available for Toyota Revo and Mitsubishi Triton. The mini RV comes with amenities like a hot water shower, toilet, 9,600 Wh battery, 80-liter fridge, and freshwater tank with a capacity of 120 liters.

The RV Smart System allows control for air conditioning, electric chair, light, and water heater. It also paves the way for monitoring the electric status, battery, electricity used, water used, and water waste. The options available with the Carryboy motorhome include suspension, kitchen slide, power generator, and air conditioner. Some of the features extended by the Carryboy motorhome are Skyview, solar rooftop, 360° Parking Cam, electric awning, electric ladder, and 3kW generator.

The exterior of the Carryboy motorhome is simple yet appealing. One can make out from the design that it is a roomy and comfortable space for five to six people. The battery compartment, cooking station and electrical system are integrated towards the right of the vehicle. The waste water tank or sewage is on the right backside of the mini-truck. The left side has an awning on the top to let you enjoy an outside camping experience when the vehicle is safely parked. The door to the motorhome features exterior and interior door handles along with a door lock integrated inside for security. On the rear side of the camper, there is bicycle storage and a carrying box.

The interior of the motorhome has system control hidden under the side cabinets which are integrated on both sides of the mini RV. It gets a television just below the storage compartments towards the left and a microwave oven. There is a door that leads to a compact restroom with toilet and shower space. The basin is outside and can be used anytime making it easier to access for washing hands or even facewash. There is a neatly designed wardrobe to store clothes and personal belongings. The sofa and bed can be arranged in three configurations making it suitable for various functions. There is room for a workplace to enjoy remote work or even dining.

The front side of the motorhome has an upper bed, above the driver. A skylight built on the roof above it creates a way for ventilation and also so that it doesn’t feel claustrophobic for the one taking the upper bed for sleeping. The side windows on the main level can also be opened for better airflow inside. A curtain between the driver and the bedroom allows for privacy. An electric outlet has been given along with a USB plug near the seating.

Overall Carryboy motorhome impresses with its looks, features, and integrations. The remarkable feature is that the cabin can be converted into a berth to make room for four people to sleep. So if you are looking for a mini RV for the next expedition this one is worth buying.
