We are sick and tired of inviting aliens to our homeland but the extraterrestrial creatures never respond. NASA has done everything from sending radio signals to launching Voyager I craft from Cape Canaveral, Florida, in a bid to attract habitants of the outside world, but all in vain. Well, some reports even suggest that scientists are planning to launch naked pictures of humans into space in hope of attracting aliens. Although the plan looks ludicrously ridiculous, if somehow, a picture is good enough to lure alien species and they end up responding, we might just host the outlandish creatures in the first-ever space hotel, provided they trade in Bitcoin or diesel.

Set to open in 2025, the world’s first space hotel would be built by Orbital Assembly Corporation. The US-based company would build two space hubs in the sky named, Voyager Station and the Pioneer Station. The latter was announced in 2021 and could accommodate around 400 people but is scheduled to open in 2027. Center of attraction at the moment is the Pioneer Station, which can host about 28 people and would be operational by 2025.

While the price to spend a single night in space with the company of stars and sun millions of light years away is not yet revealed, it would be worth spitting cash over, considering its once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Attracting business tycoons and space tourists alike, the space hotel would feature all the necessary accommodations an average human would require in a lifetime.

CNN Travel reports the futuristic hotel concept comprises multiple modules. All these modules are connected by elevator shafts that make up a rotating wheel orbiting the Earth. The company of stars, moon, and vacuum sounds even fancier when there is one-sixth of earth’s gravity. Orbital Assembly’s chief operating officer, Alatorre, told CNN Travel, the Pioneer Station will be smaller but there would be all the “comforts” of artificial gravity including the ability to eat and drink sitting down. However, the spaces with lesser gravity will allow for even more fun and space quirks.

This actually brings me to the recreational areas that the Orbital Assembly Corporation has been flaunting. It looks like the space hotel would feature, a basketball court alongside a bowling alley (since I can spot some candlepins) and a bar. In addition, there would be multiple luxury suites that can be rented for a week or month, or bought as a holiday home. The suites will have cooking facilities, bathrooms, showers, and sleeping accommodations for up to 16 people.

Well, I hope this doesn’t turn out to be a massive failure or a fluke considering both 2025 and 2027 are awfully close and I’d be here, you’d be here (unless death separates us). And if the project isn’t a reality, I’d come to bite their ass, spam their emails, and even sue them for wasting my precious fifty minutes in penning this article.
