Two months ago, Reese’s Book Club collaborated with Yankee Candle to catch the attention of book lovers by teasing four page-turning fragrances for the four seasons. The collab was announced by launching the first limited-edition fragrance for spring, A Fresh Chapter, paired with the Club’s monthly read. Radiant notes of bright pomelo, pink amber, and blooming roses marked the edition. Yankee Candle and Reese’s Book Club continue their partnership with a new chapter with the launch of a new summer fragrance, dubbed Coastal Cliffhanger.

The Coastal Cliffhanger is an exclusive, limited-time fragrance for the warm weather, bringing the scents of the oceanside. The newly launched fragrance is paired with the Club’s read of the month, Into the Blue by Emma Brodie.

It is a floral fragrance that makes you feel like you are sitting on the beach, lost in a good book. The Coastal Cliffhanger is infused with notes of “sea daffodil and solar florals mingle with watery mineral notes in a sunlit rush that pulls you in page after page.”

The new summer fragrance carries top notes of mineral waters, sea daffodil, pear, and pepper, complemented by the mid notes of rose, blue spirulina, and solar florals. The base is infused with aromas of Tonka beans, sandalwood, and cedarwood.

Like A Fresh Chapter, the Coastal Cliffhanger is also available in two popular Yankee Candle formats. You can choose between the 22-ounce Original Jar or the 14.5-ounce 3-wick candle for $35 and $27, respectively.

Both candle fragrances from Yankee Candle x Reese’s Book Club collab are designed to put you in a mood to grab a book and devour the written word. There are two more editions to come in the fall and winter. If you want to grab the summer fragrance, you’d better hurry, because it is likely to fly off the shelves.
