Industrial designer Ana Roquero created Cookplay in 2014 with the idea of setting new grounds in the field of tableware that helps everyone to serve meal in a fascinating way.

Cookplay has already marked its presence in household market by winning the Red Dot Award in 2014 for Jomon collection – a nature-inspired tableware collection that provides comfort of eating whether sitting on table or standing. However, after Jomon’s great success, Ana is all set to launch her new collection of utensils dubbed Yayoi that mixes enjoyment and intelligence with healthy eating.

Yayoi is a set of four units, designed to adapt according to the need of the meal. The white tableware comes in different shapes and sizes so that the user can easily take right amount of meal, curbing food wastage. This not only helps the user to enjoy the meal, but also inspires him/her to lead a healthy and balanced life.

Four modules (deep, flat, side and appetizer) offer different functions so that the user can intake fair proportion of carbohydrates, proteins, fruits and vegetables. The complete set of tableware acts like an mobile app reminding you of what and how much to eat. The health-responsive tableware is all set to mark its presence at the Maison & Objet Paris, 2015. So, try and be there to experience how it feels holding these porcelain saucers in your hands.
