There is always profit to be had, when there is demand for your product. And, if your product is a part of the recycled scope, the whole profitable scale emerges from the business’s sustainable practices. Pertaining to the second example, we have fortunately come across one Corbin Clay, proud owner of Azure Furniture. According to statistics, every year millions of acres of pinewood are damaged by organic beetles flooding the Rocky Mountains. These dead trees do pose a fire problem especially due to the inflammatory nature of dry wood. However, our resourceful young entrepreneur has found a ‘green’ way of utilizing the dead wood. His company salvages the required wood and turns them into high end furniture by some deft carpentry skills.

The furniture pieces include a range of items from tables, stools to drawers and bookcases (with prices ranging from $80 to $1,200). And, quite deservedly, the young designer did come into some limelight by winning a whopping $100,000 in the Ketel One Vodka and GQ magazine ‘A Gentleman’s Call’ contest. The contest was specifically for business based on entrepreneurship, craftsmanship and philanthropy.
