Convertible and space-saving furniture pieces not only adapt as per the user’s need, but also maximize space of your home. Another addition to the transforming furniture is Mosaic flower-shaped seating system- Fo.sey.fi.saa by Cairo-based designer Dina Amin. It is a floor-integrated seating to suit creative home or office spaces, adding playful touch to any interior.

Design of the flat seat comes in geometric form of a Mosaic flower as well as influenced by few characteristics of Islamic Arts. There are different folds and cuts in its pattern that can be easily transformed from a flat surface into 3D objects, required in creative workspace. On lifting and folding some units, the seating system can be changed into low table, back rest or low seats.

The prototype is made from wood and high density foam to provide utmost comfort to the user. Besides being a flexible furniture unit, the Fo.sey.fi.saa also doubles up as decorative floor object, just like a flat rug. Check out the images given below to find out how it can be converted into different patterns.
