Sebastian ErraZuriz, a 42-year Chilean designer (now based in New York) is a pro when it comes to building multifunctional furniture. His latest creation is The Grand Compilation which is a space-saving cabinet design. Interestingly, the cabinet is designed in such a way that it folds into itself, thereby saving a lot of space.

Depending on the needs, this furniture unit can also double as a multi-sized cabinet (based on your interior space) or a desk. The possibilities are plentiful as the design freedom gives room for stacking a mirror right in the middle when it is in the widest configuration.

For example, one can use it as a PC desk with side cabinet and enough room for placing things like a lamp. In other possible configuration, it can be turned into a dressing table for your bedroom.

Sebastian designed this cabinet with the possibility of making it as big as possible and then compressing it back to the smallest version of itself. In a way, The Grand Complication has to be one of the most complex yet brilliantly designed space-saving furniture we’ve seen so far.

It’s worth noticing the size variation from the biggest to the smallest configuration of this furniture piece.
