Italian bathroom brand Antoniolupi has unveiled its latest showerhead – the Tubo, which has been designed by its in-house research center AL Studio led by the CEO, Andrea Lupi. As the name implies, the showerhead features a familiar, sharp shape that looks more like a tap.

As per the designer, the water flowing through its slender shape and spout provides a regenerating effect in the bathroom. The Tubo showerhead takes forward the design approach of Apollo shower which features a similar tubular design in brass.

This time, the designer opted for AISI 316L stainless steel that will provide a clean look in the bathroom and you can also place it outdoors. Its minimalist and precise design harmonizes with architectural elements and surroundings while serving as a visual highlight.

The showerhead comes with a new 32mm spout that provides a more invigorating water jet and a regenerating effect. There are two versions to fit different needs.

In the wall-mounted version, Tubo is attached to the vertical surface at two points and water is delivered via wall control. As of the freestanding version, it is a floor-anchored showerhead with an integrated progressive mixer.

Antoniolupi is known for utilizing innovative materials for its products, a point even emphasized by the CEO in an exclusive interview with Homecrux. However, the Tubo showerhead takes a more classic approach by opting for a standard bathware material. The main highlight of the design is the unique shape we usually see in bathrooms.
