Prague-based designer Boris Klimek has designed new Arcade pendant lamps for BROKIS that merge two classic aesthetics. First is the simplicity of electrical cables with a light source, and second is the aesthetics of a classic chandelier. Showcased at this year’s 3daysofdesign festival, the pendants merge these two aesthetics to create a warm and elegant glow.

Giving off a vintage-inspired vibe, the pendants are suspended using a synthetic silk cord that represents exposed electrical cables. These cords support the cylindrical glass elements that emit a soft, diffused light. The tubes seem to float in the air, creating a dynamic light installation.

This contemporary interpretation of chandeliers can be installed as a single glowing element or arranged in a larger group. The lamps feature a flexible suspension system that makes them easily adaptable in private residences, public spaces, or hospitality settings.

Along with the Arcade pendant lamps, a second variation, Arcade+, is also available. The Arcade pendants emit light upward, while the Arcade+ pendants have a spotlight integrated into the bottom of the glass tubes, expanding functional possibilities.

The pendants embody the brand’s expertise in exceptional craftsmanship with innovative materials and designs. These chandeliers are made from transparent, triple-layer glass, with five finishing colors: transparent, smoky grey, smoke brown, opaline, and amber. The illuminating tubes add a graceful yet playful aesthetic to the space.

Metal elements are used to keep the tubes upright and are available in three powder-coated color options: white glossy, black glossy, and brushed champagne. The synthetic silk ropes also come in three colors: beige, white, and black. The Arcade pendant lamps don’t just fill the space but also introduce a vintage charm to the surroundings.
