There has been a rising interest among consumer electronics brands to launch portable projectors to cater to the outdoor entertainment needs of modern people. Aurzen, which got plenty of attention for its ZIP tri-fold projector during CES 2025, is back with another model named BOOM air that boasts a compact design just like the Yaber T1 Pro. It is smaller and less heavy than the earlier Boom Mini model but comes with nearly all the features you would require for on-the-go entertainment.

Measuring 21.7 x 14.3 x 31.5 cm (8.5 x 5.6 x 12.4 inches), the Aurzen BOOM air is about the size of a water bottle and weighs just 1.23 kg. Just use a 65W+ power bank, and you are ready to watch movies anywhere without needing an outlet.

It has a lower brightness of 300 Lumens and offers the same 1080p resolution with support for HDR10. The projector is best suited for dim or moderately lit environments. In a completely dark room, it can project a 100-200-inch image while the size shrinks to 40-60 inches in dim indoor light for best results.

With a built-in Google TV system, you can easily access your favorite content across various platforms, including Netflix, YouTube, Disney+, Prime Video, and HBO. With dual-band Wi-Fi and 2-way Bluetooth, you can easily stream and cast from phones or laptops. The projector also has an HDMI port and a USB port for external connectivity. It can even accept voice commands via built-in Google Assistant.

The projector features ToF real-time autofocus that automatically adjusts the picture without you having to do anything. Additionally, the 110-degree adjustable stand lets you project on a desk, wall, or ceiling. There is also a built-in 10W Dolby Audio speaker and rear-facing 360-degree sound to provide immersive audio without any external speakers.

If you are interested in buying the Boom air portable projector, it is available for $300 (not more than the $330 Boom Mini with 500 Lumens brightness) and is also available on Amazon. The only perk is that it is more compact and lightweight for better portability.
