If making the most of small spaces is an art, then Baluchon has definitely mastered the art. The French tiny house maker has now successfully squeezed a tiny home and an office into a 20-ft-long tiny dwelling. Dubbed Milanda, the tiny house serves as a full-time residence to its owner in northern France.

Boasting a spruce frame, the tiny house sits on a double-axle trailer. It is finished in red cedar cladding and has green aluminum accenting for an aesthetic appeal. Despite its small size, Milanda notably has a spacious interior, featuring a living room, kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. There are two large glass doors that open up to reveal the spacious living space.

The living area features a sofa that can be converted into a bed. There is also a wood-burning stove in the room that helps the owner stay warm during the winter. Adjacent to the living room is a staircase that leads to the bedroom in the loft. The staircase also has storage space. With a simple design and a low ceiling, the bedroom has windows on both sides to allow the owner to gaze outside.

The kitchen features all the necessary items required for a comfortable stay. It has a four-burner propane cooktop, refrigerator, microwave, and sink. There are wooden cabinets and countertops that provide a lot of storage like other tiny houses. One cannot possibly ignore the double-folding table and a full-size closet. The bathroom of the Milanda tiny house features a shower and a dry toilet.

The owner mostly works from home so he wanted to have a home office too. Baluchon added a desk under the staircase, which might feel a little cramped in pictures. However, there is glazing next to the workspace that won’t make the space feel confined. This also allows a lot of natural light to pass inside and sets the motion for work.
