You will rarely stumble upon a tiny house under 30-foot-long that can sleep six people with ease. The Banksia by Australian builder Treehab Tiny Homes is one such cozy, minimalist tiny house on wheels that makes room for a large family. Thanks to its smart layout, the Banksia tiny house features two lofts, a main floor bedroom, a kitchen, a living room, and a bathroom without feeling cramped.

Treehab Tiny Homes’ Banksia offers a comfortable lifestyle without compromising or sacrificing space in the lounging and cooking spaces to make room for sleeping accommodations. The tiny house on wheels features a standard RV-style hookup for electricity, water, and sewage. Built on a triple-axle trailer and a galvanized steel chassis, the exterior of the compact dwelling features a metal and cedar exterior with recycled insulation and attractive amenities.

The glazed bi-fold sliding glass front door opens into the living room where a two-person couch offers seating along with a small coffee table. The living room is compact yet comfortable. With no room for placing or hanging a television, you will have to be content with admiring the outdoors from the big windows.

A tiny breakfast nook next to the couch is ideal to be used as a workspace or counter space for meal preparation. Opposite the nook is the compact kitchen of the Banksia. The kitchen is outfitted with a stainless steel sink, a two-burner gas cooktop, an oven, a medium-sized fridge, and many storage options.

Given the compactness of the kitchen and the living room, the Banksia might not be fit to permanently house six people but it certainly will make a nice home for a small family. On one side of the living room, the main floor bedroom is located with a queen-size bed and a large wardrobe. One of the lofts is located over the main bedroom with a king-size mattress space and the other lies over the bathroom with a queen-size mattress space.

The bathroom is past the kitchen, concealed behind a pocket door. It features a glass shower room, a vanity sink, a toilet, and a large open-shelving unit. At $56,800, the Banksia tiny house on wheels really comes at a bargain price.
