Conceived by Verner Panton in 1959, the S-shaped Panton Chair is one of the most famous chairs of all time and it isn’t surprising that still many modern designers are coming up with similar compositions. Case in point, the new Super chair crafted by designer Nicholas Baker for Damiano Latini, featuring a sculptural design.

To achieve the unique silhouette and organic shapes of this chair, the New Yorker designer has developed the concept directly in 3D. He started with a rectangular figure modeled with the aid of the VR viewer and obtained a sinuous and fluid shape for the chair.

The Super chair is manufactured with injection molding technology using 100-percent recycled polypropylene and is coated with a SILKY finish for a more sophisticated look and adds a velvety soft touch to the chair.

Focusing on its eco-responsibility, the material used for the production of the Super chair is made with RE-LIFE technology. The polymer part is obtained from the recycling of offcuts and waste industry, without the use of fossil resources.
