Some people are born with an eye for unique design, like the DIYer Ananords, who recently shared an Instructable to make an utterly beautiful 3D-printed levitating planter.

Although you can find a number of levitating products online, the DIY levitating planter is a pretty cool idea to try, provided you have the required tools, supplies and skills.

Inspired by a levitating planter by Flyte, the DIYer used a magnetic levitation module, DC jack, oak effect vinyl, MDF, white PLA, and M3 bolts and nuts to complete the project.

He designed a 3D model of the planter in Fusion 360, then 3D printed the planter, and laser cut the wood base. A magnet was placed inside the planter and fixed with glue.

He then made an elegant box to hide the magnetic module and wire clutter. On fixing the magnetic base to the box the DIY levitating planter was born. It is an intricate project surely, but 3D-printing enthusiasts can check out the step-by-step tutorial for help and give it a try.
