As the spooky season approaches, I decided to create some clay crafts for holiday décor: This adorable clay pumpkin candle holder being one. Incredibly easy and quick, this DIY pumpkin candle holder is a perfect candidate for your fall, Halloween, and Thanksgiving decoration ideas. Materials Used:

  • Air dry clay
  • Orange Acrylic Color
  • Brushes

How to DIY Clay Pumpkin Candle Holder

  • Roll the air-dry clay into a ball
  • Form indentations of a pumpkin to give it a perfect shape using a thread
  • Hollow out the innards of the ball to create space for placing the candle
  • Arrange the indentations if they get blurred and smooth out any irregularities using your hand or clay tools
  • Leave the clay pumpkin for 24 hours to dry completely
  • Then paint it in a bright orange color and let it dry
  • Place the candle inside the holder and light it up
