Nowadays, iPads make great recipe books, but you obviously want to keep them off the counter for more cooking space. This DIY iPad holder under kitchen cabinet provides an appropriate space to your device for easy access. Built by Imgur user [Baxterinferno], this space-saving iPad dock keeps all online recipes closeby.

How to build?

The DIYer started the project by cutting a 12 x 9-inches rectangle wood block. The size of the wooden piece was marked before cutting so that the designer’s both iPad Mini and iPad Air can fit in easily. The wooden block was later fixed onto the hinges and glued on the top brace for better fitting. Next step was to fix the holder underneath the kitchen cabinet without compromising with the counter space.

The Result:

It is indeed a perfect DIY hack for homeowners who love experimenting with their food. The flexible hinges allow the iPad holder to stay in place at whatever angle the user wants and to keep it securely stowed away under the cabinet when not in use. All thanks to this tablet holder, there’s no need to search for your smart recipe book – as it will always be at your hand’s reach.
