Texas-based Indigo River Tiny Homes mostly adheres to the mantra of “less is more” when designing mobile habitats. Then there are models like the 36 ft. Elsie tiny house on wheels, which while still tiny offers luxurious interiors and cannot be filed under the term “less.” Sitting on the bigger side, the Elsie tiny house packs a fully equipped kitchen, a living room, a dining space, a huge bathroom, and two lofts within its 400 sq. ft. interior. Not only the house is spacious, but it also has propane and solar power for off-grid living.

The French front doors and a myriad of huge windows bring in a lot of natural light and fresh air. Opposite the front door, a full kitchen is equipped with a three-burner propane cooktop, an oven, a microwave, a sink, a refrigerator, under-counter cabinets, and open shelving. There is even a pull-out pantry in the kitchen to stack snacks and spices.

The kitchen is flanked by bathroom and living area. The bathroom is huge and has plenty of space for a bathtub as well. It features a vanity sink, a shower cabin, a toilet, shelves, and space for a washer-dryer unit.

On the opposite end of the Elsie tiny house, a nice dining spot is tucked between the kitchen and the living room. It has a foldable table that can seat six people with ease and has drawers in the middle.

The living room is next to the dining space and has a futon, a small coffee table, and an entertainment center built into the storage staircase, which leads to one of the loft bedrooms. Upstairs, a standup landing fits a small wardrobe and a couple of drawers. On a raised platform, a king-size bed or twin bed can be placed to sleep two or three people.

The master bedroom located above the spacious bathroom is accessible via another set of storage-integrated staircases. The standup loft has a full-size closet, a work desk, a queen-size bed, and a couple of shelves next to the bed.

The Elsie tiny house is a customized Homesteader Deluxe model. Since the tiny house is customizable, you can add or subtract any feature to make it better suited to your family.

Does anyone in Orange county Ny, Sullivan County, or Ulster County have a place you can go to that actual builds tiny houses where you can see a house you like and just have it moved to your property?
Thos is crazy. I need a builder & like a showroom.

Hi Della, thanks for reading Homecrux. We have covered tiny houses by California Tiny House, which might be more convenient for you. You can simply contact the builder for arranging a tour.
