Spanish tiny house designer, Serena House is dedicated to building environmentally friendly tiny habitats that prioritize the use of renewable energies for modern living comforts. Having established a niche in constructing ecologically sound tiny houses, the builder now brings Freyja, an ultra-modern wooden compact dwelling, based on the brand’s Penates format which accommodates four people cozily and has a removable terrace to extend the area further.

Freyja tiny house stands out from the rest with its quirky layout honed with the inclusion of a kitchen, loft bedroom, and bathroom. This comes in the form of a generous space turned into an XL dressing room. The entrance is via a wooden door that leads you into a moderate kitchen. Toward the left side is the outstandingly spacious wardrobe room.

Instead of having numerous cabinets throughout the interior, Freyja tiny house ramps up space through the super-spacious multipurpose fitting room. You can use it to store household items and as a wardrobe closet for yourself. The dwelling is equipped with gas heating, a solar power system plus a system for rainwater collection and filtration.

Opposite this area lays the kitchen fitted with a two-burner cooktop, a fridge, and a sink. This section is well-lit and has a small window to keep things airy. Interestingly, a handy multi-functional corner sits across the kitchen. Used as a workstation or dining nook, this viable space is decked up with a wall-mounted desk and a rustic stool.

The bathroom is adjacent to the kitchen on the ground floor for convenience. It includes a large shower, a dry toilet, and a sink. For laundry, a petite wall-mounted washing machine serves the purpose.

Access to the loft bedroom is made via a wooden ladder that stands above the kitchen countertop. A spacious bedroom with a double bed and a cabinet makes for a comfortable stay. The top floor also has an unusual relaxation area (opposite the loft bedroom) suspended on a platform. Left to the discretion of the user, this versatile space can be transformed into a living room/play area.

The use of ecological paint and breathable walls makes Freyja tiny house one step closer to being a green tiny house option. For the Penates format, the house costs $43,700 for the empty shell and $78,600 for the turnkey version.
