In spaces like coffee shops or crowded cafeterias where space can be a major issue, one would certainly like to add furniture that makes the maximum use of a less space and also is aesthetically beautiful. Keeping this in mind, Spanish designer Cristian Reyes has come up with a gorgeous looking side table dubbed Giros that is a perfect solution for space issues in all such places. The Giros is a minimalist side table that solve the space problem with its two nesting table surfaces. Reyes’ design is simple yet intelligent and it recently won him the prestigious Red Dot Award 2013.

The Giros table has nested round top surface that sits atop three conjoined legs. It is made up of solid ash wood making sure that it is strong enough. The table is completed with a natural environmental finish giving it a simple look. The center of the table consists of a threaded stem. The set of surfaces can be separated by spinning around the central stem just like opening a screw. The top surface can be used as a regular table while the lower (colored) surface creates a storage space..

Although the Giros was created for coffee shops, but the sleek and splendid looks of the table makes it a nice addition even to the contemporary living rooms.
