To mention that a tiny house features a bedroom, kitchen, or living room has become a redundant statement over the last couple of years. But trust me, equipping a micro dwelling with a main-floor bedroom is still a long shot for many tiny housemakers. Not for Movable Roots though! The Florida-based tiny house company ensures to pack their dwellings with a main-floor sleeping chamber that prevents users from the hassle of moving up and down the stairs while making it easy for them to access the bathroom. One of the company’s builds that is a testament to this statement is the $189,000 Henderson tiny house.

Measuring 34 feet long (two-foot extension on each side), the tiny house boasts a modern look with a well-planned layout. It comes finished in cedar and metal exterior that adds elegance to the exterior, while a copper roof adds durability to the whole structure. Flaunting elegance and grace on the outside, the tiny house offers both practicality and comfort inside.

This is possible, courtesy of a main-floor bedroom that makes it easy for the elderly to access the bathroom which is located on the opposite end. Generally, the dotage finds it difficult to access the washroom during the night as they have to come downstairs, but Movable Roots eliminates that option by offering a main-floor bedroom. The bedroom can either be accessed from the outside or can also be reached via a sliding door that separates the bedroom from the kitchen and other areas.

Featuring a queen-size mattress and a couple of cupboards, the bedroom is neat and functional and even offers walking space on three sides. Other than the bedroom, the tiny house also features a living room, a loft bedroom, a kitchen, and a bathroom. Being capacious and functional, the living room comes equipped with an L-shaped couch that faces a wall-mounted TV. Beneath the television lies a few floating shelves that offer space to display photos, plants, or decor items.

Nearby is the gourmet kitchen that consists of blue cabinets for storage. These cabinets are contrasted by the long quartz countertop that offers a decent cooking space to the user. Not to mention, a dining table that seats two people in a breeze. Other than the furnishing, the kitchen also includes a gas stove, oven, sink, and dishwasher. Nearby the kitchen is the bathroom of a tiny house featuring a vanity, shower, and toilet.

But that’s not all. The tiny house also features a loft bedroom that can be accessed via a ladder. The loft bedroom sleeps two people with ease and even provides a storage option to the user. Apart from basic features, the tiny house features an optional fold-down deck where you can place chairs, and sit and relax in peace. Overall, the $189,000 Henderson tiny house is a practical, cozy, and comfy abode for those seeking a downsized lifestyle.
