Audio brands are well known for their promotional strategy of collaborating with other major brands to help them reach new audiences. The latest example is Klipsch’s global collaboration with Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey. Targeting film lovers, the collaboration resulted in a limited-edition portable Bluetooth speaker featuring themed design and finishes. The speaker has been created as official merchandise for the film, with Klipsch and sister brand Onkyo named exclusive promotional audio partners.

Inspired by the legendary sword of Odysseus, the Klipsch x The Odyssey Limited Edition Speaker features battle-worn finishes, hand-distressed detailing, and brass accents that give it an artifact-like appearance. The genuine leather carrying strap further adds an organic touch to the overall look.

In terms of audio, the speaker is built on Klipsch’s Music City Series Detroit platform. Each unit is equipped with dual 1-inch tweeters and dual 3-inch woofers to deliver rich, full-range sound that the company claims delivers “the power and detail of a live performance.”

You can also customize bass, mids, and treble with the Klipsch Connect Plus app to match your own requirements. The Broadcast Mode lets you play the same song across 10+ compatible Klipsch speakers for an expansive listening experience ideal for a larger group.

As it is an IP67-rated portable speaker, you can take it outdoors. The speaker is fully protected against dust and can withstand submersion in up to one meter of water for 30 minutes.

It uses Bluetooth 5.3 for wireless connectivity up to 40 feet, while a rechargeable battery offers up to 20 hours of runtime. It comes with 18W fast USB-C port charging and supports reverse charging, so you can use the speaker to recharge compatible devices.

The Klipsch x The Odyssey Limited Edition Speaker is limited to 2,500 units worldwide, and will be available for a suggested retail price of $499.99 from the official website and even Amazon. Klipsch already launched The Sevens Speakers Featuring Jurassic World Rebirth Artwork last year, setting a precedent for The Odyssey.
