If building tiny homes is an art, Build Tiny is the artist. The New Zealand-based micro-dwelling maker has built more than forty tiny houses on wheels, including the famous Glider and Kingfisher. The reason to associate the moniker ‘artist’ with Build Tiny is not because of the number of tiny houses built over the years but for the aesthetic appeal and supreme functionality its models provide.

Larissa & Tyler’s tiny house (named after the owners) is another fine compact abode that speaks volumes about the trademark functionality and elegance of the maker. Built on a double-axle trailer, the tiny house is finished in cedar and steel exterior. The 19 feet long dwelling is packed with a living room, kitchen, bedroom, home office, and suspension net, offering comfort to the user.

The tiny house has a net spanning between two lofts accessible via a ladder affixed to the wall. The primary loft functions as a bedroom featuring a bed and some storage space, while the secondary loft serves as a home office.

The secondary loft offers plenty of room for the user’s feet to dangle down to make working from home more comfortable. Connecting the two areas, the suspension net also functions as an additional lounge area where you can chill, play cards or read a book, and do activities as per your liking.

Downstairs, we have the kitchen outfitted with a pull-out pantry, sink, and a removable cabinet on wheels that conceals a washing machine. The kitchen area is also accoutered with a number of appliances ranging from a fridge/freezer, sink, oven, and two-burner propane-powered stove.

Nearby the kitchen is the living room which features a sofa with integrated storage space. Not to mention, a removable table that functions as a dining space. There is also a cabinet with a TV that allows you to binge-watch your favorite programs.

Adjacent to the living room is the bathroom which can be accessed via a sliding barn door. It includes a toilet, sink, and shower. Overall, Larissa & Tyler’s tiny house is a cozy and comfortable dwelling with many space-saving features that allow you to live life king-size.
