Virginia’s custom home builder, Tiny House Building Company, has a fleet of impressive mobile housing models. The 24-foot-long Laurel tiny house is one of its earlier models. 22_bgybig@2022_hcfnThe Laurel is a single-loft micro-dwelling, making it perfect for a travel-loving couple as a full-time residence. It is feature-packed and offers much luxury and comfort in such a petite package.

In its 272 square feet interior space, the Laurel tiny house on wheels fits a compact kitchen, living room, home office nook, bathroom, storage stairs, and a king-size loft bedroom. The micro-dwelling has a gray exterior made of engineered wood siding. The split roof design provides an architectural charm while offering more head space in the otherwise low-ceiling loft.

The front door opens into the open-floor interior, where the kitchenette is located on the left side and the living room on the right side. The kitchenette, despite its comparatively smaller size, is outfitted with every modern amenity. It has custom gray cabinets with laminate countertops, an oversized stainless sink, a custom tiled backsplash, a two-burner induction cooktop, a refrigerator, and an exhaust fan.

Opposite the cooking area, a living room setup is created with a big couch, which can be swapped for a sofa bed for additional sleeping space, a side table, and a reading chair. Next to the kitchen, a drop-down dining table is installed to seat two people. Storage-integrated stairs are designed to utilize every odd angle to house essentials, books, or knick-knacks.

Underneath the stairs is a small office nook in case you need to work from home. Past the nook is a big closet, just outside the bathroom, while a separate closet section hides the laundry setup. The bathroom is small and has a shower stall, a vanity sink, and a standard toilet. The only bedroom is above the bathroom and fits a king-size mattress.

Priced at $79,900, the Laurel tiny house has an on-demand propane water heater and a split-unit air conditioner. If you like this beautiful, two-person tiny house, you can contact the builder.
