It is no news that plastic has become one of the toughest adversaries our planet has ever faced. While we cannot entirely eradicate the plastic plague from the face of the earth, recycling has become a powerful tool in the arsenal to deal with it to some extent. Major brands are recycling plastic to form everyday household items such as chairs, tables, and even coffee makers. Yes, that is right. The Italian manufacturer of coffee products, Lavazza has created Tiny Eco – a Modo Mio coffee machine made from recycled plastic and compostable capsules.

With a vow for sustainability in its products and functioning, Lavazza’s Modo Mio Tiny is a beautiful, compact, and practical appliance. The stunning machine comes with a power cord and offers a refreshing beverage with single push of a button to prepare and turn the machine on and off. It even has an adjustable cup rest grill with two height arrangements.

The smallest of the A Modo Mio range, Tiny Eco aims to create a compact and sustainable espresso machine. It is specifically designed to provide you with an authentic Italian espresso experience in your home. The lighthearted, characteristically strong, and sturdy design is crafted with Italian design at heart. The small and easy espresso machine comes in 5 colors: green, red, white, black, and pink.

The water in the tank (with a capacity of 0.6 liters) should be changed every 3 days to keep the functionality of the machine at optimum levels. It is easy to clean with a soft cloth and mild detergent and also features removable dishwasher-safe components for ease of cleaning. The capsule compartment is only compatible with Lavazza capsules.

Lavazza’s design team explored various facets of recycled materials, energy consumption, and packaging logistics to create Tiny Eco. Intended to be used in households, this compact coffee maker can be used in staff kitchens in shops, offices and anywhere you may need the revitalizing elixir of life. Moreover, the coffee machine is fit for recycling, processing, and eco-friendly disposal at the end of life, supporting Lavazza’s pledge to sustainability.
