Every year during CES, LG comes up with the newest TVs and other useful tech for modern homeowners. In continuation to the same, the company is showcasing its new FX Washer and Dryer combo at CES 2022.
These innovative laundry solutions feature LG’s enhanced Artificial Intelligence Direct Drive (AI DD), proven steam technology, and an array of functions that combined make washing and drying clothes convenient for users.
This new FX laundry pair can sense load size, fabric type, and level of soiling, and then automatically add the recommended amount of detergent, as well as adjust the wash cycle for optimized cleaning of clothes.
LG FX Washer
The new washer is also equipped with LG’s steam technology for optimal washing. It also boasts Smart Pairing feature that sends information from the washer to the dryer, and automatically recommends the optimal drying cycle.

LG FX Dryer
Powered by AI DD technology, LG FX Dryer boasts a new AI cycle that automatically selects the appropriate settings for optimal fabric care and faster drying times. Furthermore, the AI technology also enables the appliance to learn the user’s laundry routine and preferences to serve a tailored clothes drying solution.
The dryer also has a built-in infrared sensor that measures the temperature of the clothes during the drying cycle and makes adjustments automatically. Bluetooth pairing makes it possible for users to control both appliances from one control panel on the washer.
