South Korean multinational electronics company LG Electronics recently unveiled their latest range of televisions that addresses the growing hygiene issues of mosquito in India. Named “Mosquito Away TV,” the latest television series ranges from Rs. 26,900 ($403) to Rs. 47,500 ($712). According to the statement released by LG Electronics India, “The LG Mosquito Away TV is developed after studying the Indian market, as there weren’t many devices which address the growing issue of mosquito in India.”

Equipped with an ultrasonic device that uses sound wave technology to ward off mosquitoes, the odorless device just needs activation to show off its effectiveness and usefulness. Hence, without emitting any harmful radiations in the air, it saves people from mosquitoes attacks and other diseases linked with them. The company claims that the technology used is complied around the norms of global organizations and is tested by International Institute of Biotechnology and Toxicology (IIBAT).

A hassle-free television that does not require any refilling and maintenance is available in different display sizes. The smallest screen size is 32-inches, while the top-of-the-line is 43-inch wide. Currently there is no word on when it will hit the market, but with increasing cases of malaria, LG’s new TV line is a blessing in disguise for many.
