Scotland-based builder Echo Living designed the 35 ft Long Shed tiny house, which promises an unforgettable, off-grid adventure. The tiny house is built on a triple-axle trailer and is easily transportable. The tiny house fits the mantra of living small and living efficiently in a minimalistic layout.

At first glance, it looks like a compact shed structure but reveals a much bigger picture with eco-friendly features. The Long Shed tiny house is an off-grid dwelling with four roof-mounted 415W solar panels, two 12v batteries, a solar controller, 725 liters of non-potable water, a water heater, and a gas-fueled cooktop and oven.

The exterior of the Long Shed is configured with a corrugated steel wall for a sturdy build. A three-paneled sliding glass door brings in the vast natural expanses and fresh air, whereas a discreet entrance door hidden behind a gangway provides access to the house. A small timber deck hidden within the steel-frame cabin extends out for an extra outdoor/indoor space.

A compact oblong inner layout is equipped with a kitchen, a bathroom, and a bedroom with a king-size bed that sleeps two people comfortably. The interior is clad with proper sheep-wool insulation, provisioned for tough-climatic situations. The central space is equipped with a wood burner. The large windows reflect the sun and brighten up every nook of this humble abode.

Next to the kitchen is a bathroom, which accommodates a sink, faucet, shower area with a glass screen, and a toilet positioned in a separate section. The bathroom is separated by a sliding timber door.
