Mandapa, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve in Bali, Indonesia is the third resort in Ritz-Carlton’s Reserve collection. Located alongside the Ayung River in the heart of Ubud, Mandapa is designed to offer guests an escape from city life and help them relax mind, body, and soul amidst pure nature. All around the hotel are lush grounds and beautiful rice paddies, making a perfect location for nature lovers.

The resort comprises 35 suites, 25 private pool villas, four unique dining concepts, and a restorative Spa and fitness center. Last year, the resort introduced Mandapa Camp, a bamboo hut designed especially for children to play, learn and indulge in various activities. It is designed and constructed by Bali-based architecture and design firm lead by Miles Humphreys.

This new children-focused facility has playful amenities including an organic garden, a slide that can take kids down from the second floor to the first, and an educational farm for kids to get in touch with cows, chickens, ducks, rabbits, and other domestic animals.

The Mandapa Camp lets children learn new skills, make new friends, and take part in a wide range of nature-based activities that encourage them to learn Balinese culture through arts, music and games. There are four types of programs for mini explorers which vary in time duration.

Mandapa was ranked No. 1 Leisure Hotel in Asia and No. 3 luxury hotel by Smart Travel Asia this year.
