In the middle of a coniferous forest and on the shores of Deep Creek Lake in Maryland, the Morning Glory is a cabin rental made from wood exuding country charm. Hobbitat, a Maryland-based tiny house company has built this small abode for vacation lodging company Blue Moon Rising, allowing guests to rediscover the wonders of nature.

The Morning Glory makes space for a bedroom, sleeping loft, kitchen, and bathroom. The exterior is made of cedar shake and the cabin has an expansive covered wraparound porch and vaulted ceiling for an open feel.

Large windows fill the cabin with light and aid proper ventilation. Upon entering, a thoughtfully designed layout greets the guests. Reclaimed and repurposed materials make up most of the house for creating an energy-efficient space.

Dark walnut flooring spans throughout the house. The main floor of the house has a cozy bedroom on the right. Opposite is the living room with space for a table and a couple of chairs. A bump-out for the kitchen and all modern facilities create space for the guests to cook a hearty meal. The dining setup is between both the spaces to enjoy meals.

A sturdy ladder takes guests up to the spacious sleeping loft. The loft bedroom has a queen-size bed, a large window, and plenty of open space. Fencing around the loft is for safety purposes. The bathroom is under the loft and features a shower, sink, and vanity.

The back area of the house features a communal fire pit with ample seating for winter nights. You can book Morning Glory Cabin for $239/night.
