Netherlands-based company Nupky has designed Nsure, a smart thermostat that doubles as smart home automation system to allow users to control their smart home gadgets with a single device. It lets you control all smart devices of a home together to make your dwelling more convenient and comfortable. Touted as Butler, it uses OpenTherm protocol and a self-learning heating algorithm for communication.

From controlling connected devices to providing useful tips and alarms, Nsure makes it easy to manage your smart home. It is a freestanding smart thermostat with an on-board screen that shows real-time weather updates and helps in managing household tasks, such as order finished household items, set up fan speed and adjust lighting or heating as per personal preferences. With the companion mobile app, you can keep a check on energy use too, and even set up a pattern lock to protect your device from unauthorized use.

After you have synced your smart home devices with Nsure, it will be able to control all of them. If you’re looking for a central getaway to control your smart home devices, then it is definitely a good alternative. As for its compatibility and price, there is no word about it on its official website.
