You must have heard of white walkers but have you heard of Treewalkers before? My guess is you have! California-based O2 Treehouse teased Treewalkers, a worldwide network of franchise-based rental treehouses back in 2020. The company launched a crowdfunding campaign for the Treewalkers franchise back then.

Known for its custom-built treehouses, the builders have now unveiled the first-ever modular glamping treehouse tent. Located in Northern California, the Treewalkers is a modular glamping tree tent that combines a suspended wooden base structure and a canvas with a tent-like roof.

While making the treehouse structure, the O2 Treehouse developed a new style of architecture dubbed ‘Tetratruss system’. The Tetratruss system uses hubs and struts that connect in countless permutations and combinations to create homes, platforms, decks, bridges, and walkways.

Accessed through a tetratruss staircase, the tree tent can either be supported on trees like a hammock or simply elevated from the ground with solid support from stilts. The structure also features elegant woodwork on the interior. Finished in maple walls, and cedar slab countertops, the interior is as exquisite as the exterior and the surrounding view.

These unique dome-like tents feature all the basic amenities from a regular queen-size bed to built-in benches. In addition, there are bookcases, a dining bar to make your stay comfy. The walls have a blooming movement and slanting outward. I believe, there is a zipper section that functions as a window and allows the habitants to peep outside.

You can purchase the pilot structure Treewalkers Tent starting at $85,000 but hurry because the option is valid until this May. Or this structure is only available for purchase to people who wish to open a Treewalkers branded location within the franchise system at a lower cost.
