It is the season of colorful tiny houses, which is quite fitting with bright and vivacious blossoms blooming all around us. The one colorful mobile dwelling I am bringing to your screens today is a custom tiny house built by Rocky Mountain Tiny Houses. Dubbed the Ol’ Berthoud Blue, the 24’ tiny house on wheels is truly a peacock with gradient blue shingles, a blue door, and a rustic interior.

The Ol’ Berthoud Blue tiny house uses beetle kill pine for the majority of interior finishes. There is a porch with a sunburst pattern rail and the cutest little door you’d ever find. It opens into the spacious kitchen that is fully equipped to provide scrumptious meals.

The kitchen features a custom stainless steel countertop, a dish rack, a three-burner propane stove, IKEA cabinets, a fridge, and a huge slide-out pantry. The stainless steel rods on shelves keep the items secure while traveling. Opposite the cooking area, a dining table and bench seats allow eating in style. It also converts into a 6-foot bed.

Next, the dining area is a small counter to be used as prep space or a small office area. A 60-gallon freshwater tank is stored behind the work area in the kitchen which can come in handy when out on the road.

The tiny house has a beautiful and sizeable bathroom with an Alfi cedar tub and a private toilet area with a compositing toilet. Several adjustable shelves in the bathroom provide plenty of storage. Winder stairs lead to the master loft overhead with a king bed, a surround sound system with a projector, and a headboard with storage. There are two skylights in the loft with remote controls for the windows and shades.

Perfect for cross-country travels, Ol’ Berthoud Blue tiny house is a colorful, rustic, and spacious dwelling. It might as well be the final nudge for you to adopt the downsized lifestyle and get yourself a compact, mobile house.
