From Chirashizushi to Nigirizushi, Oshizushi, and Inarizushi, there are so many types of sushi that you may have tasted. But Sushi Donut is a delightful surprise in the food world and has become the latest internet fad. Fountain Valley’s Project Poke in Orange County, California, has created this four-inch snack that is donut only in shape.

Actually, it is a sushi made from rice with extra vinegar, sugar, and salt for optimum stickiness and then molded in form of donuts. Further, it includes spicy tuna, avocado or imitation crab filling. Finally, it’s garnished with sesame seeds, masago, cabbage, cucumber and salmon or tuna. This delicious sushi donut is being sold for $4.50.

The idea was pioneered by Sam, a vegan food creatrix who recently posted pictures of her culinary creations on Instagram. Now, these sushi donuts are rising to the top of Instagram, obviously because they look so tempting. Have a look at these delicious works of art for yourself.
