As soon as CES verges on, all of us start looking for new TV launches from popular consumer tech brands. If you are eyeing new OLED TVs, Samsung Electronics has good news for you. The Korean company has announced its 2023 QD-OLED TV lineup, which is referenced as an upgraded version of last year’s models. The new TVs are available in different sizes including the ultra-large 77-inch model.

The company claims to improve the picture quality of the 2023 OLED TVs with enhanced peak brightness that reaches up to 2000 nits. The TVs employ the advanced optimization algorithm IntelliSense AI and the new OLED HyperEfficient EL material to improve the color brightness of each RGB.

Samsung Display explains, “AI technology based on big data collects information on each pixel in real-time and uses it to precisely control light, providing enhanced image quality.”

Likewise, the new OLED HyperEfficient EL material applied to the blue emitting layer of QD-OLED increases the efficiency of the light source, resulting in bright and clear colors. The company adds that the advanced AI reduces power consumption by up to 25 percent compared to the 2022 model.

Samsung informs that in order to improve user experience, the 2023 products will come with a built-in SmartThings Zigbee & Matter Thread One-Chip Module, which means you don’t have to buy a separate SmartThings hub. You can expect the module in the 2023 QD-OLED TVs that will automatically sync with not just Samsung devices but also with third-party appliances, allowing you to control them on one platform with ease.
