Samsung is raising the bar of picture quality and viewing experience in well-lighted Homes. This is an essential development for most of us tired of viewing TVs in diverse lighting conditions. With the introduction of a new glare-free OLED TV, Samsung has a groundbreaking appliance that’s superior to its predecessors and designed to eliminate reflections in a brightly lit environment.

The glare-free display of Samsung’s newly revealed, S95D QD-OLED TV, ensures one can watch the TV from different viewing angles and in various light conditions indoors without any distortion in the picture quality. Most existing TVs from the bigger manufacturers come with an anti-reflective coating, but the S95D from Samsung arrives with a little more: it has an OLED-optimized special panel that uses a hard-coating layer made specially to offer precise details without the irking glare.

While the glare-free aspect is the highlight, the S95D is not a deal-breaker in other functions. In fact, the Samsung TV carries the company’s quantum dot OLED technology, delivering equally vibrant colors, and richer brightness in comparison to the WOLED displays that work on similar tech as the QD-OLED panels.

Samsung has introduced the S95D QD-OLED TV in a 77-inch screen size with an 11mm ultra-slim profile. The TV boasts a 144Hz refresh rate, AI-enhanced color accuracy, and arrives with support for HDR10 and HDR10 plus. However, the Korean tech giant has chosen to continue without Dolby Vision support in the television set.

To achieve a near wireless form factor, the S95D TV comes with Samsung’s One Connect Box that eliminates all the other cables except for the power chord. The glare-free OLED TV comes installed with the latest Tizen software. There is no word on the retail price but we are hopeful that Samsung will have the S95D QD-OLED TV in the market later this year.
