Poland-based designer Iwona Kosicka has given a completely new identity to the four-legged furniture by creating Swing – a comfortable chair that can be hung from the ceiling. The simple yet functional chair made from solid wood is designed to add a fun element to the usual boring furniture design.

Defying the basic features of a chair, Kosicka wanted to create something that without taking much space not only fulfilled the purpose but also added healthy features. The 100 percent organic and natural chair is made from hardwood plywood, which is later lacquered with vegetable oils and beeswax to add shining element. Designed under the experienced supervision of Polish artisans, Swing highlights the true art of carpentry.

Ideal to be used as both indoor and outdoor furniture; the stainless steel fixture on the top provides it durability and strength to hang and take any kind of weight. Made to order, Swing chair costs €900 (approx $1000) and is available in four colors – Natural, Black, White, and Brown.
