The tiny house movement doesn’t merely cater to the downsizing needs of a solo traveler, a couple, or even a small family. This wildfire of a movement has flamed the creation of tons of versions of compact housing – both mobile and park models –for nuclear and big families too. Georgia-based Mustard Seed Tiny Homes has mastered the art of offering large, beautiful park model designs that can fit a family of six to eight people with ease. A case in point is the Sycamore tiny house, which is a downsized take on traditional homes with multiple bedrooms, a front porch, and a fireplace-equipped living room.

The Sycamore tiny house comes with two downstairs bedrooms, a spacious living room, a full kitchen, one and a half baths, and a huge loft for both sleeping and storage. It’s a feature-rich dwelling that sits on the bigger side of the size configuration in the industry. The Sycamore measures 39-foot-long and 14-foot-wide, but with the 10-foot covered front porch, the length of the tiny house reaches nearly 5-foot-long.

Its 400-square-foot interior is accessible via a front glass door from the porch. Inside a light-filled living room and kitchen welcome you. The living room has a big couch, a coffee table, a side table, and a media wall. There is an electric fireplace to keep the home warm and toasty in colder months.

Adjacent is a full kitchen that has beautiful white oak countertops and custom green cabinets, both under-counter and overhead. It features a four-burner electric cooktop with an oven, a ventilation hood, a farmhouse sink, and a refrigerator.

Past the kitchen is the half bath, which includes a small vanity sink, some shelves, and a standard toilet. Opposite the compact bathroom, a bedroom is located. It can fit a twin bed and a dresser.

The master bedroom is at the end of the hallway, with a stacked washer/dryer unit outside the door. The area has a queen-size bed, a large wardrobe, and access to the full bathroom. The bathroom has a tiled shower, a vanity sink, a storage cabinet, and a toilet.

Overhead is the large 200 square feet L-shaped loft, accessible via wooden stairs located next to the kitchen. The double loft is divided into two areas and can serve as a kids’ room, a storeroom, a small office, or a guest bedroom.

If you have the money to spare, the pricing for the Sycamore tiny house park model starts at $170,000. The porch can be omitted to make it a tiny house on wheels for mobility. Moreover, there are tons of customization options available that make it a great dwelling for a growing family.
