Los Angeles-based Taylor and Zach Calmus collaborated with Graffiti artist Justin Nanfelt to establish Taybles LLC, a designer furniture company to realize the concept of cassette tape coffee table which was initially developed by Taylor. Influenced from traditional audio cassettes, the design team worked forth to create a retro-styled wooden coffee table collection, and the result is Taybles cassette coffee table that brings back the memories of the 80s’. It is a fantastic piece of furniture for musicians, artists and all retro lovers.

This hand-crafted cassette tape look-alike table comes with dry erase label, removable steel cup holders and a hidden shelf behind the magnetic strip for keeping remotes, books and other things. The steel hairpin legs support the structure and contrast the retro look. You can also remove the table legs to hang the tabletop as a wall art.

At first, they offered A-side Cassette Tape Coffee Table which is a pricey item. But recently, they have started a crowd-funding campaign at Kickstarter to provide these unique tables at an affordable price. Both the models are nearly same, but there are differences in features, build materials and customization options. The B-side table is cheaper than the previous model and the price is minimized by outsourcing the mass production outside the US.

If you are born in the era of cassettes, then it is a stylish coffee table that is perfect to jazz up the interiors of your room with a musical touch. You can get the B-side cassette table by backing the project for a minimum of $250 and with the expectation of delivery by July 2017.
