The tiny house season is in full bloom. From the ultra-compact Kejadenn tiny house to the spacious Coogee 10.0, every sort of tiny dwelling is garnering a lot of attention on social media. More and more people are being swayed either to buy tiny houses or merely satiate the desire by gawking at the pictures of stunning models being made across the globe. Ulla-Carin is another alluring tiny house that is worth having a glimpse at, even if you don’t plan to buy.

Designed by Modern Tiny Living, the 26 feet dwelling is a custom tiny home built for a client in Columbus, Ohio. The tiny house runs from a standard RV-style grid-based hookup. The name of the tiny house might sound a little weird but it is eponymous of a Swedish exchange student the owner’s family once hosted.

“When we build tiny homes for our customers, we always encourage them to name their home themselves and to make it personal. We believe a tiny home is an exciting milestone for people and that they desire a moniker that best reflects something memorable for the owner,” stated Modern Tiny Living.

Built on a triple-axle trailer, the tiny house is finished in vertical smart siding, with cedar accenting and a metal roof. The beautiful home on wheels not only boasts an impressive exterior but is filled with an array of features inside. The floor plan features a living room, kitchen, bathroom, and three bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms are in the loft area, while the main bedroom is downstairs.

Featuring ample headroom, the main bedroom is located at the end of the tiny house and lies beneath the first loft. The second bedroom, which obviously is in the loft, can be accessed by a storage-integrated staircase and features a low ceiling and a double bed.

What is intriguing is the second loft that can be used as a third bedroom, if required. Accessed via a removable ladder, the loft can even function as a storage room or kid’s playroom, depending on user preferences. There is no word on the total number of people the tiny house can sleep, it’s safe to assume it to be around six.

Ulla-Carin is not just about bedrooms and there is more to the tiny house than its housing capacity. Upon entering the tiny house, we are graced with a sofa that has integrated storage space. On a little downside, the living room is not very spacious and also includes a desk area facing the sofa. The desk can be used as a dining table and even be put to use as a countertop when cooking.

Adjacent to the desk area lies the kitchen with all the necessities. Filled with a number of appliances ranging from a farmhouse-style sink, full-size fridge/freezer, microwave, and an electric induction stovetop, the tiny house is jam-packed with appliances for a lovely stay. Next to the kitchen is the bathroom featuring a sink, shower, and a composting toilet alongside a full-size stackable washer and dryer.
