Takeshi Miyakawa has designed a unique furniture collection that actually is there but is seemingly not there. Called the Visible/Invisible furniture series, it consists of normal chairs and tables. The thing that makes them unique is the material with which it is made of mirror finished acrylic that reflects its surroundings more or less perfectly is used for making the furniture series to make each unit camouflage.
The designer cleverly makes them visible as each of the furniture pieces is bent or distorted by using a heat gun to produce intricate wrinkle-like texture on them. You can check out this furniture collection at Salon 94 in New York City.
