Ukrainian industrial designer Kateryna Sokolova has designed the Capsule office pod for Netherlands-based contract furniture maker Casala.

The cocoon-inspired pod will provide a sense of privacy and comfort in office or wherever you choose to put it.

The capsule is stylish office furniture to creates privacy without completely cutting the person off from the office surroundings.

Oak legs and steel frame keep the structure durable while seats upholstered in Nevada fabric and braced with cushions make it comfortable to sit and relax. It is basically an innovative sofa with covered sides and padded walls that absorb ambient noise to improve acoustics in the space.

Capsule office pod is available in one, two or three-seat versions and there are various color choices for fabric and wooden legs.

Privacy screens can be an alternative to such office pods, but screens are generally for partition, this pod doesn’t partition open space, rather it creates a separate cocoon for privacy.

Capsule will be manufactured by Casala’s subsidiary brand Palau
