- Colorful paper
- Needle and thread
- Scissors
- Pencil
- Jute twine
How to Make a Paper Pumpkin Garland
- To make this fun and easy DIY Halloween craft, all you need is to figure out a pattern, which is a circular piece of paper
- Once you have that, divide it into six equal parts with a pencil
- Now draw six petals on the paper using those six dividing lines as anchors for each petal
- Make sure to have a tiny circle at the top of each petal
- Cut the outline; make sure to have only a little circle in the middle to keep the petals joined
- Then punch the needle through the middle of the paper flower and in the center of little circles on the top
- Then thread the needle through the center of the floral pattern and begin needling your petals one by one, the earlier punched holes will make it easier and speed up the process of stringing the piece together
- Once the thread is holding all the petals in place, tug on the thread, bend the flower a little, and make a knot to keep it secured
- Twist a strip of brown paper to make a tendril; draw a leaf pattern on green paper and cut it; then glue these pieces on top of your paper pumpkin
